ENHANCE CAMPUS FRIENDLINESS WITH REAL DATA
OUR ASSESSMENT
01 / RELIABLE
Your campus will be assessed with the International Friendly Campus Scale (IFCS; Wang et al., 2014), which has 5 campus dimensions to assess friendliness. The IFCS is a published measure that has demonstrated strong psychometric properties.
02 / SIMPLE
Simply invite international students on your campus to complete a 10-minute online survey. We will provide you with the survey link to email your students. Shortly after the data are collected, we will send you an assessment report of your campus (PDF, Excel sample).
03 / FREE
There is no financial cost to participate in this international friendliness campus assessment. Your contribution is to help us collect data from your students to build a national database as reference for universities to compare their institutions with.

OUR STORY
Our team initially started in 2009 when Dr. Kenneth Wang was a faculty member at University of Missouri conducting research on the adjustment of international students. We created the ISPlaza.org to provide information and resources to international students and people working with this population.
OUR VISION
Our vision is to bring more awareness to universities around their level of campus friendliness to international students. The ultimate goal is to facilitate a better environment for international students studying abroad through identifying positive campus factors and specific areas for improvement.
OUR ASSESSMENT
Our assessment is based on the International Friendly Campus Scale (IFCS) created by Dr. Kenneth Wang and colleagues (2014). The IFCS has strong psychometric properties. Our analyses are conducted by researchers with strong statistical skills, offering unbiased results of your campus.
